Estimator

The Estimator is responsible for analysing project requirements, reviewing drawings and specifications, and preparing accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and services. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure competitive and profitable bids, cost-effective, timely, and aligned with technical requirements. The Estimator also evaluates risks, develops proposals, and supports decision-making. Sourcing subcontractor/vendor quotes. The ideal candidate would have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ideally, experience within Metalwork or associated construction trade minimum 3+ years.

Responsibilities.

• Communicating effectively with clients, team members and subcontractors for clear understanding of projects.
• Prep detailed cost estimates and proposals.
• Follow up tenders and quotations.
• Maintain industry costs and market trends.
• Review project plans, specs and drawings to determine project scope and requirements.

What we are looking for:

• PROVEN experience as an Estimator in the Construction industry is highly preferred.
• STRONG knowledge of construction materials, methods and processes,
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
• Be able to read and understand blueprints, drawings and specs.
