Estimator

Our Client is looking for a driver and experienced Estimator to join its busy commercial team based in Colchester, Essex, on a permanent basis.

The ideal cnadidate will have specific experience working on Highways and infrastructure, working across a variety of projects

Key Responsibilities include:

Become a key member of the commercial team, supporting the Senior staff - Collaborating closely across packages
Developing stakeholder relationships
Research and compile data on materials, labour, equipment, and project timescales
Prepare tenders from schedule of rates, including traffic management subcontractor elements
Review received tenders, advise clients on suitability, and assist in contract documentation
Support measurement and valuation of ongoing work, identifying deviations from original contracts

Requirements for the Role:

Proficient in Causeway 3 estimating software (essential)
Experience with SAP and CEMAR (advantageous)
Working knowledge of Chapter 8 (Parts 1, 2, and 3), TSRGD 2016, and the Safety of Street Works & Road Works Code of Practice
Familiarity with NEC3/4 contracts (highly beneficial)
Manual Driving licence
