We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing civil engineering contractor based in Hull, who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team. 🔍 Key Responsibilities: Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering projects Analysing drawings, specifications, and tender documents Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Producing detailed tender submissions and cost breakdowns Working closely with the commercial and project delivery teams to ensure smooth handover and ongoing cost control Attending site visits and client meetings where required✅ Requirements: Proven experience in estimating for civil engineering or groundwork projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market rates Excellent numerical and analytical skills Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Team player with good communication and organisational skills
