Estimator

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join the façades and cladding division of an established SME main contractor.

Based at the company’s Milton Keynes office, you will be an important member of the commercial team, working closely with the Commercial Manager to produce accurate and competitive tenders for façade and cladding remediation projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications

* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

* Completing accurate material and labour take-offs

* Obtaining and evaluating quotations from subcontractors and suppliers

* Identifying commercial risks, opportunities and value-engineering options

* Liaising with the commercial, design and operational teams

* Supporting tender handovers following successful project awards

* Maintaining accurate records of costs, quotations and tender information

The successful candidate will have previous estimating experience within façades, cladding, external envelopes or remedial construction works. You should be commercially aware, confident interpreting technical drawings and capable of managing multiple tenders to deadline.
