Major Recruitment is recruiting for an established infrastructure specialist seeking a Ground Investigation Estimator. You’ll help secure work across highways, rail, nuclear, energy and environmental projects throughout the UK.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll join an experienced team where your technical knowledge and commercial judgement will shape competitive, practical proposals.

Your role

*

Produce accurate GI estimates and tenders, assessing costs, feasibility and resource requirements.

*

Review specifications, contract conditions and relevant safety and environmental requirements.

*

Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations and develop tender programmes.

*

Coordinate proposals with operations, commercial and bid teams.

*

Represent the business at site visits, tender interviews and client presentations.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have 10 years’ relevant ground investigation experience, with a strong understanding of GI methods, specifications, industry standards and forms of contract.

Commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines will be essential, alongside confident Microsoft Office skills. A full UK driving licence and CSCS card are required.
