Estimator - Civils

Your new company
Our client, an established and multi-accredited contractor operating within the water industry, is seeking an Estimator to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Coventry office.

Your new role
As Estimator, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates
• Analysing project requirements and specifications for accurate pricing
• Collaborating with the commercial team to develop competitive tender proposals
• Reviewing and assessing the financial aspects of project plans
• Providing insight and recommendations on cost-saving opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies
• Assisting in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:

• Previous experience estimating within heavy civils
• Strong understanding of pricing and tendering processes
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Full UK driving licence.
