Office Based: South Yorkshire

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000neg + Discretionary Bonus & Company Car allowance

The role of Estimator – Fit-Out will involve:

* Estimator position dealing with range of commercial construction projects including fit-out, strip-out and refurb

* Typical projects include full turnkey solutions across medical, educational and leisure sectors

* Requirement to visit sites across the UK to conduct site surveys, attend project meetings and gather information required for estimating.

* Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations

* Negotiating with clients, project managers, quantity surveyors and internal estimating team

* Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines

* Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database

* Contacting customers, dealing with queries and providing additional technical information

* Working on projects ranging in value from £5000 to circa £5m+

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Fit-Out with:

* Must have Estimating experience within Fit-Out or closely related

* Would be open to someone within strip-out, refurb, new build or joinery

* Highly advantageous to have understanding of construction contracts and the ability to read and interpret contractual documentation.

* Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs

* Stable career, highly organised with good attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* IT literate (Microsoft Office)

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
