Area to be covered: National with a focus on London & South East

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000

The role of the Estimator – Interior Fit-Out will involve:

* Predominately an Estimator role with additional commercial manager duties, dealing with a range of interior fit-out projects covering: partitions, furniture, ceilings, fit-out

* Gain an understanding of project requirements through drawings, specifications, tender documents and client liaison

* Analyse project plans and perform quantity take-offs to accurately estimate labour, material, equipment and subcontractor costs

* Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

* Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions and proposals in line with client requirements

* Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams throughout the estimating process

* Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, pricing information and project documentation

* Support cost control initiatives and prepare reports for management review and decision-making

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Interior Fit-Out with:

* Must have Estimating or Commercial Management experience

* Must come from a contracting fit-out background or a manufacture of partitions, ceilings, furniture or closely related

* Highly advantageous to have experience with Microsoft Project

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Capable of building and maintaining long term relationships with clients

* Resilient, hardworking attitude

* Full UK driving license

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
