Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator - Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with various industrial and commercial, roofing and cladding systems including: twin-skin / built-up systems, composite panels systems, standing seam systems, GRP systems, fibre cement systems, laminated boards, and aluminium rainscreen systems.
• Reviewing tender enquiries and specifications to gain an understanding of project requirements
• Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
• Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices
• Producing formal quotations to clients
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
• Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
• Estimating for projects ranging in value from £5k to £2m

The ideal applicant will be Estimator - Roofing & Cladding Systems with:

• Must have estimating experience within the roofing and cladding market sector
• Experience dealing with twin-skin / built-up systems, composite panels systems, standing seam systems, GRP systems, fibre cement systems, laminated boards, and aluminium rainscreen systems
• Must have a good understanding of technical drawings
• Full UK driving license
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• High levels of organisation and attention to detail
• Enthusiastic, team play, who works well individually also
