Are you an Estimator or similar from a Structural Steel background looking for a technical role within a company who pride themselves on their long-term staff retention?

Do you want to lead the estimating process on all ongoing projects for an award-winning steel fabrication company?

This well-established company have been at the forefront of fabrication and manufacturing since 1982 they work with a wide variety of clients across the UK ranging from major contractors to bespoke consultancies. Due to their current estimator progressing into a new department, they are looking to replace them.

This autonomous role where you work closely with the Sales and engineering teams to generate estimates and undertake a range of other office responsibilities for ongoing bespoke Structural Steel projects. You will undertake occasional site visitation but primarily work within the office to quantify steel work from engineering drawings. In addition, you'll be providing support for the construction and production departments also included in assisting clients.

This role would suit an Estimator from a Structural Steel background looking for an exciting technical challenge within an award-winning and family run Structural Steel company providing a bonus to increase your earnings and the opportunity to continually upskill and progress your career.

The Role:

• Initial tender appraisal / completion of check lists
• Quantifying steel work from engineering drawings
• Reviewing details and establishing pricing
• Support for bespoke projects
• Liaising closely with the sales director, construction, production and clients

The Person:

• Estimator or similar
• Structural Steel background
• Commutable to Grantham
