Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus tbc

The role of the Estimator/BDM - Commercial Electrical Installation will involve:

• Estimator/BDM position role dealing with a range of commercial electrical installation services
• Targeting retail, offices, public buildings, education, hotels and healthcare sectors
• Generate new business through main contractors and commercial end users
• Gaining an understanding of project requirements via drawings and client liaison
• Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing to accurately estimate project costs
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
• Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiation discussions as needed
• Build and develop relationships throughout the process to encourage repeat business
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation
• Project sizes will range in value up to circa £3m, you will be roughly targeted on bringing in circa £1.5m per year

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator/BDM - Commercial Electrical Installation with:

• Must have experience as an Estimator or Business Development Manager within the commercial electrical market sector
• Ideally looking for someone to join with a book of contacts within the commercial construction sector
• High standard of organisational and time management skills
• Strong understanding of UK electrical codes, standards, and market pricing
• Ideally will be qualified in Electronic Engineering
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
