What do they look for in an ETL and Data Migration Specialist?
They are looking for a motivated and experienced ETL and Data Migration Specialist to join their Data Teams. You will work as part of a team to help them expand their data reporting and analytics offering for users of their market leading applications.

Your responsibilities as an ETL and Data Migration Specialist can include:

Designing, building and deploying new ETL solutions
Scoping new projects, estimating timescales for completion of the work.
Maintaining and improving existing ETL suites, ensuring data is handled efficiently and new features and database changes are incorporated and released seamlessly
Migrating new data from a variety of different systems into their market leading application
Collaborating closely with other teams, directors and customers to gather requirements and deliver solutions in a timely manner
Handling of multiple different and evolving datasets for existing and new markets

What are they looking for in you?
You should be able to demonstrate your experience with the following:

Experience with troubleshooting and solving complex data problems
Working knowledge of developing ETL solutions
Experience of Git and/or other source control software
SQL and relational databases

Additionally, experience or exposure with any of the following would be beneficial.
Agile methodologies and principles, preferably in a scrum framework
Coding using. Python, R, Java
