ETL Developer

We are currently supporting a public sector organisation in the Yorkshire & Humber region that is seeking a forward-thinking ETL Developer to help modernise and enhance their data infrastructure.

This role will focus on redesigning and refreshing existing ETL pipelines, which currently use a combination of Python and SSIS, to support the transition to a new centralised data warehouse. The successful candidate will play a key part in migrating these pipelines to Azure Data Factory and providing ongoing support and iteration.

• Redesign and develop new ETL pipelines to support modern data warehousing.

• Migrate and refine existing pipelines from on-premise solutions to Azure Data Factory.

• Access and work with SQL Server databases, including writing T-SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Support and maintain both new and existing ETL processes.

• Structure and prepare data to optimise performance and enable deeper insights.

• Proven experience writing new ETL pipelines.

• Strong understanding of data structuring for performance and analytical use.

• Confident in working with SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL and stored procedures.

• Experience refining, modernising, and migrating ETL pipelines.

• Ability to provide system support and continuous improvement to existing solutions.
