EUC Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-performing and high-profile client based in the Bristol/Bath region. They have embarked upon a number of large and complex technology transformation initiatives and are seeking a seasoned, confident and reliable End User Compute Engineer to support their teams.
Your new role

As an EUC Engineer, you will adopt a varied role which will span across the client's technology estate as a core member of the Infrastructure team. This role will require you to work effectively with a number of software and hardware systems which are business-critical. You will -

• Configure and deploy a number of machines across the client's estate
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure requirements are agreed prior to beginning rollout
• Troubleshoot technical issues during deployment and go-live to ensure accessibility of core systems at all times
• Provide ongoing support for users either F2F or remotely

What you'll need to succeed

Key Skills / Experience required :-

• Prior experience adopting the role of EUC Engineer, Roll Out Engineer or Deployment Engineer
• Seasoned experience in the deployment of Windows machines
• Good understanding of industry-standard configuration/deployment tools such as Intune and Microsoft End Point Manager
• Good understanding of ITIL best practice

What you'll get in return
In return, you'll receive a competitive salary c£40k-45k and work in a hybrid pattern, typically 3 days per week on site. This role is an 18-month fixed-term contract.
