European Road Freight Clerk

Our client is an International Global Freight Forwarder they have invested heavily in its European Road freight division and has aspirations to be an industry leader in European Overland services
We are now recruiting for a European Road Freight Forwarder to join the growing freight forwarding team based in Wythenshawe, near Manchester airport

You will take bookings, handle quotations, complete relevant documentation, put together shipments, input details onto system, source hauliers, negotiate rates, organise collections and deliveries and invoice out.
Resolving any issues and build relationships with customers

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join a strong and dynamic team as they continue their rapid expansion.
Experience required:

* European Trailer freight experience
* Imports and exports
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good verbal and written communication, to provide a professional image to customers and suppliers.
* The capacity to work in a high-pressure environment whilst remaining calm when under pressure.
* The ability to liaise with a global network of agents, suppliers and hauliers.
* A positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.
* The drive to succeed and want to make a contribution to the business
* Good verbal and written communication
