Description

The European Transport Planner will be responsible for;

• Develop and manage efficient transport plans for various European routes.
• Coordinate with drivers and customers to ensure timely and effective delivery of goods.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to transport planning.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to optimise operations.
• Maintain compliance with transport regulations and safety standards.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs.
• Monitor delivery process and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Report on transport planning metrics and propose improvements.

Profile

A successful European Transport Planner should have:

• Relevant educational qualification in logistics or a related field.
• Proven experience in transport planning or a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of European transport regulations and routes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and manual planning.

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of £45,000 - £50,000
