EUSR Groundworker

Join our dynamic team as an EUSR Groundworker, where you will play a vital role in supporting infrastructure projects through skilled groundworks and site maintenance. As a Groundworker, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of the site, assisting management with daily operations, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

* Perform general groundworks including excavation, trenching, and site preparation to support construction activities.

* Assist with the management and maintenance of site equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety.

* Operate vehicles such as mini excavators, dump trucks, or other relevant machinery in accordance with safety protocols.

* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and management to coordinate tasks and report progress or issues promptly.

* Support site management by maintaining clear documentation of work completed, safety checks, and equipment inspections.

* Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe operating procedures.

* Contribute to site cleanliness and organization to promote a safe working environment for all personnel.

Experience

* Proven experience as a Groundworker or similar role within construction or infrastructure projects.

* Knowledge of site management practices, including basic maintenance of tools and machinery.

* Valid driving license with experience operating construction vehicles is preferred.

* Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and management.

* Demonstrated ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining high safety standards.

* Management skills are advantageous for coordinating tasks efficiently on busy sites.

* Relevant certifications such as EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) Groundworker card or equivalent are highly desirable.
