EV Test Technician

As an Electric Vehicle (EV) Powertrain Test Technician, you will focus on the automotive EV Powertrain test rigs for external clients, including project set-up & de-bugging, mechanical & electrical fitting, and test cell operation.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is willing to take on new challenges and learning within the rapidly evolving EV arena.
Key Requirements:
Vocational qualification or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline is desirable, but extensive experience will also be considered
IT Literacy (Microsoft packages) required to maintain clear and traceable documentation
Excellent communication skills
Highly energised mind-set with willingness and desire to learn and adapt individually
EV powertrain, battery, hybrid systems knowledge
Experience of EV powertrain or hybrid system test operations
Knowledge of Alternating Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC) electrical systems
