Event Driver / Event Installation Crew — Immediate Recruitment

East London | £15.50–£16.50 per hour | Zero-hours contract

Are you a confident driver who enjoys practical work and meeting people? JS Fun Event Hire is expanding its freelance-style event crew pool and needs dependable Event Drivers & Fun Ambassadors.

You will work from our East London depot, driving company vans to event venues and installing interactive entertainment equipment. The role combines driving, event setup, basic troubleshooting and customer service.

Your duties will include:

Loading, checking and securing equipment before departure

Driving to corporate events, exhibitions and brand activations

*

Installing and testing interactive games

*

Explaining safe operation to clients and guests

*

Dismantling and returning equipment after the event

*

Completing job records and reporting problems promptly

*

Assisting with depot preparation and equipment care

You will need:

A full UK driving licence and the ability to meet fleet-insurance criteria

*

Experience driving vans confidently in London and on longer journeys

*

Practical problem-solving ability

*

Strong punctuality and reliability

*

A polite, professional and customer-focused manner

*

Flexibility for weekdays, weekends, evenings and occasional overnight work

*

The physical capability to handle event equipment safely

Experience in events, AV, exhibitions, installations, removals, logistics, warehousing, maintenance or hospitality is advantageous. Full training on our games and procedures is provided.

The starting rate is £15.50 per hour, rising to £16.50 per hour once training and competency sign-off are completed. This is a zero-hours position and weekly hours will vary.
