Events Executive

Edinburgh or Glasgow

Permanent, Full-Time

Competitive, based on experience

Meraki Talent is partnered with a leading Professional Services firm in Scotland to appoint an Events Executive on a full-time, permanent basis. This role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

We are looking for a proactive and organised Events Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of a wide range of in-person and virtual events across multiple office locations in Scotland. This role offers hands-on involvement in all stages of the event lifecycle—from initial planning through to post-event analysis—while working closely with internal teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver in-person events across three Scotland offices, including on-site support.
  • Maintain and update event data, ensuring accurate records are kept in the CRM system.
  • Oversee Scotland’s events calendar and collaborate with internal teams to deliver engaging and impactful events.
  • Work with stakeholders to define objectives and coordinate all aspects of event planning, vendor management, budgeting, and delivery.
  • Support effective internal communication around events to maximise participation and visibility.
  • Provide administrative support for both in-person and virtual events.

About You:

  • Experience working in professional services
  • Proven ability to plan, manage, and deliver events (in-person, virtual, or hybrid) to a high standard and within budget.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection regulations relevant to events.
  • Experience using CRM and eMarketing platforms.
  • Flexible with working hours to support events outside standard office times.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to improve processes and systems.

If you are a motivated and detail-oriented events professional looking to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
