Our client is an event catering company and they are looking for an Event Manager to join their growing team. The Event Manager will be responsible for the planning and operational delivery of a variety of events. You will work closely with the Sales team and oversee the logistics, equipment and briefing of the event whilst being first point of contact for clients on the day.
Main duties;
Manage and coordinate event staff to deliver successful catering on event days.
Ensure your events are organised and planned to the clients brief.
Take responsibility for orders and staffing for your events.
Produce PO's for all orders and report on profit/ loss for each event
Manage the flow of communication between departments ensuring all information is received.
Plan and deliver a wide range of events from private, social and corporate events.
Requirements;
Ability to work under pressure.
Must have exeperience working for an event caterer or working at an events venue
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
A passion for event delivery to the highest standard
Excellent time management skills
Previous experience with Event Operations
