Job Description - Event Sales Executive

With Intelligence is seeking an enthusiastic Event Sales Executive to join our talented Audience Acquisition team!

Our Women’s Summits connect senior female leaders across all sectors of the private markets industry. From LPs actively making allocations to GPs raising funds and doing deals, our global events facilitate the sharing of hard-to-get information, allow for straightforward discussions, and provide the perfect backdrop for unparalleled networking.

The Job

We are looking for an experienced events sales professional to accelerate delegate acquisition and attendance revenues across our With Women events across Europe, American and Asia. These events bring together accomplished women to obtain hard-to-get information and knowledge, to broaden and strengthen their networks, and do business with one another. 

The successful candidate will  be the point of contact before, during and after the events and be responsible for the onboarding and overall engagement. You will be a key part of events division working with all internal teams.

  • A telesales role which involves speaking with c-level executives across the alternative investment space to sell access to an exclusive series of events
  • Positioning conversations to bring the event to life whilst focusing on client benefits to gain commitment and close the sale
  • Working towards a range of pre discussed targets with your line manager including calls, sales and conversions
  • Working from a database of warm leads - outbound calling to B2B clients globally
  • Quickly building rapport over the telephone with customers aiming to develop longer term relationships
  • Working closely with the marketing department to convert interest into sales pipeline
  • Ability to work solo and as part of a strong team

The right person will have:

  • A solid background of managing client relationships over the telephone  with a confident and intelligent telephone manner
  • A team player with an ability to build a network both internally and externally – and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, with a willingness to ask questions and put forward ideas and the drive to own opportunities through to completion
  • Fantastic organisational Skills
  • Experience of working in a target driven environment.
  • Working across a global events portfolio will require some flexible working hours
  • Self-assured and intelligent sales manner with a proven track record in closing business
