Event Security Supervisor

We are looking for a SIA-badged Event Security Supervisor to join our team in South Wales.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our operations team to deliver excellent customer service.


• Coordinate with event organisers and venue management.


• Lead and manage the on-site team to ensure company standards are followed.


• Comply with the instructions of your manager.


• Conduct briefings with security and stewarding staff to communicate roles, responsibilities, expectations and emergency procedures.


• Ensure compliance with company and client policies and procedures.

Requirements

• You must hold a valid SIA license - Door Supervisor Licence


• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Security Officer in the UK security industry.


• A minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory/Leadership role, preferably within the events industry.


• Level 3 Spectator Safety qualification.


• Checkable 5-year work/study history.


• Ability to use software and mobile applications for incident reporting and documentation review and debrief reports.


• Must be willing to work as part of a team.


• A positive and energetic approach to your job.


• Excellent communication skills, approachable and a smile.


• Ability to be on your feet for an extended period.


• Physically fit and able to carry and install equipment, signage and crowd barriers.


• A valid driver’s licence and access to a car are desired but not essential.


• Able to travel to various locations in South Wales including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and surrounding areas including central, north and west Wales as required.

IMPORTANT:

• Due to the nature of the events industry, the contract we are offering is a fixed-term contract. We cannot guarantee you will work the same number of hours every month as some months are busier than others. Please bear this in mind before applying.


• This is not an application for a Door Supervisor; we are actively seeking team leadership/supervision experience.
