Event Technician (Vision Engineer)
£30,000 to £40,000 (DOE) + 28 days holiday (inc bank), pension, medical benefits

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Event Technician, specialising in vision engineering, to join a dynamic team delivering high-quality visual production for live, virtual, and hybrid events.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on role where you'll rig and operate visual equipment across a range of corporate and live event settings. You’ll also contribute to equipment maintenance and collaborate with teams to ensure events run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vision systems and manage live event video production
• Use Barco Event Master, presentation switchers, LED walls, and Panasonic projectors
• Support video playback, streaming, and hybrid event production
• Lead freelance teams and communicate effectively with clients and suppliers
• Prep and maintain equipment in the warehouse and on-site
• Deliver and collect kit using company vehicles

Skills & Experience Required:

• 2+ years in AV or vision engineering, ideally in corporate events
• Experience with Barco Event Master, LED systems, projectors, and streaming solutions
• Proficient with presentation and video playback software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lead and work independently under pressure
• High attention to detail and presentation
• Full UK driving license and own transport
