Events & Marketing Executive (Full-Time)

Job Description - Events & Marketing Executive (Full-Time)

About NORQAIN

NORQAIN is an independent, family-owned Swiss watch brand with a challenger mindset and a passion for mechanical watchmaking, innovation, sport and adventure. As we continue to build our presence in the UK & Ireland, this is an opportunity to join a close-knit, entrepreneurial team and play a hands-on role in bringing the brand to life for retailers, partners, media and consumers.

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive, highly organised and creative Events & Marketing Executive to support the continued growth of NORQAIN UK & Ireland. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the Managing Director and wider UK&I team, you will take day-to-day ownership of event planning and delivery while supporting a broad range of marketing and operational activity.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong attention to detail with initiative and sound judgement. From major brand and sporting partnerships to intimate retailer activations, you will help ensure every NORQAIN experience is delivered professionally, consistently and with energy.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Brand Activations

  • Own the end-to-end planning, coordination and delivery of retailer events, brand activations and partnership events across the UK & Ireland.

  • Develop event concepts and experiences that translate NORQAIN’s adventurous, independent personality into engaging consumer and retailer moments.

  • Build event plans, timelines, checklists and budgets; track expenditure and support post-event reconciliation.

  • Source, brief and manage venues, production suppliers, agencies, hospitality partners and other third parties, ensuring agreed standards, timings and budgets are met.

  • Prepare and distribute speaker briefs, event running orders and key messaging to ensure all participants are fully informed and aligned ahead of each event.

  • Coordinate photography and videography requirements, including creative briefs, shot lists and visual references, liaising with external photographers and videographers to ensure all content captures the event and brand to the required standard.

  • Coordinate guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, travel, hospitality, product, POS and event collateral as required.

  • Act as the on-site lead for events, managing set-up, live delivery and breakdown and resolving issues calmly and proactively.

  • Work closely with retailers, partners, HQ and the UK&I team to ensure clear communication and seamless execution.

  • Support post-event follow-up, reporting and learnings, including attendance, feedback and agreed performance measures.

Marketing & Campaign Support

  • Support the Marketing Manager with the execution of the UK&I marketing calendar across retail, partnerships, PR, digital and consumer activity.

  • Coordinate marketing assets and campaign requirements with internal stakeholders, retailers, agencies and partners, ensuring materials are accurate, on-brand and delivered on time.

  • Support retailer marketing activity and local campaign execution, including digital initiatives where required.

  • Assist with campaign and activity reporting, maintaining trackers and capturing results and learnings.

  • Help maintain consistent NORQAIN brand standards across UK&I touchpoints and raise any inconsistencies for correction.

PR, Media & Product Sample Management

  • Manage the check-in/check-out process for press, media and influencer watch samples, maintaining accurate records and clear accountability.

  • Coordinate secure packing, dispatch, courier tracking, receipt and timely return of product samples.

  • Liaise professionally with media, influencers, agencies and other contacts to ensure an efficient and responsive service.

  • Support PR and influencer activity with product, imagery, information and logistics as required.

Brand Materials, Inventory & Office Support

  • Oversee storage and inventory of POS materials, event equipment, branded merchandise and marketing collateral.

  • Maintain accurate stock records, monitor levels and coordinate replenishment, distribution and movement of materials.

  • Arrange business travel, accommodation and ground transport for the UK&I team when required.

  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the UK&I office, including supplies, presentation standards and general operational requirements.

  • Provide ad hoc administrative and project support appropriate to a small, fast-growing subsidiary.

Governance & Ways of Working

  • Maintain organised project files, supplier information, budgets, purchase documentation and event records.

  • Handle watches, commercial information, partner data and personal information responsibly and confidentially, following company procedures and applicable requirements.

  • Support sensible event risk planning, including venue requirements, supplier documentation and health & safety considerations, escalating issues where appropriate.

  • Represent NORQAIN professionally with retailers, partners, suppliers, media and consumers at all times.

  • Be comfortable with regular UK travel, occasional overnight stays and event work outside standard office hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Requirements

About You

You will thrive in this role if you are ambitious, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership. You enjoy working at pace, know how to keep multiple moving parts organised and bring a positive, solutions-focused approach. Just as importantly, you want to be part of a team that is building something, where everyone gets involved and standards matter.

  • Previous experience in events, marketing, brand activation, hospitality, luxury retail or a related coordination role.

  • Demonstrable experience coordinating events or projects from brief through to delivery.

  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence dealing with external partners and suppliers.

  • Competent user of Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Commercial awareness, including confidence working with budgets, quotes, invoices and basic reporting.

  • Creative mindset combined with the practical skills and discipline to turn ideas into well-executed activity.

  • Proactive, dependable and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a small team.

  • Flexibility to travel and support events outside normal working hours when required.

  • Valid driving license.

Desirable

  • Experience within luxury goods, watches, jewellery, fashion, premium consumer brands, sport or lifestyle.

  • Experience working with retailers, agencies, PR contacts, influencers or brand partners.

  • Experience supporting digital marketing, CRM/eCRM or retail marketing campaigns.

  • An interest in mechanical watches, sport, adventure and the NORQAIN brand world.

Development Opportunity

As NORQAIN UK & Ireland continues to grow, the scope of the role can broaden across retailer digital marketing, CRM/eCRM, brand campaigns, partnership activation and wider 360-degree marketing, including local product development opportunities. For the right person, it offers genuine exposure to the development of a fast-growing global luxury brand in a key market.

Benefits

You are passionate about the watchmaking world, open-minded, dynamic and a strong communicator who actively approaches others and enjoys working in a team.

Exciting challenges await you in a dynamic and high energy environment, which will offer you key insights into the fascinating world of the watch industry.
