About the role

Do you love bringing people together through great events? Are you energised by tech, innovation and partnerships and keen to make a real impact locally?


 


We’re looking for an Events & Sponsorship Manager to lead and grow an exciting portfolio of high profile events at the heart of Upstream London, Hammersmith & Fulham’s industrial strategy to make our borough the best place to do business in Europe.


 


You’ll join our Strategic Partnerships team, home to Nexus, the H&F x Imperial College London collaboration that supports and connects our fast growing STEM ecosystem. Events are central to what we do and this is our first dedicated events role.


 


You’ll lead the strategy, planning and delivery of a varied and ambitious events programme, including:


 



  • The Deep Tech Network (DTN) Showcase

  • Investor panels

  • London Tech Week activations

  • The Digital Creative Network West Showcase

  • The Jawdrop Summits (Life Sciences, Climate-tech)

  • And for H&F – the annual Upstream London Economic Forum & Expo 


 


Alongside our flagship events, you’ll also design and deliver new, creative formats, from focused Jawdrop Summits to hands on workshops and networking meet ups that strengthen our local STEM community.


 


You’ll take ownership of event operations and logistics, managing everything from venues and suppliers to registration platforms and on the day delivery. Some events you’ll lead directly; others you’ll deliver collaboratively with partners and stakeholders.


 


You’ll also play a key role in sponsorship, supporting the Assistant Director to:


 



  • Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities

  • Shape compelling sponsorship packages

  • Build strong, long term relationships with sponsors and partners
