We are working in partnership with a specialist provider of temporary buildings and event structures for major national and global occasions. With a strong presence in the events and construction sector they are looking for hands on operatives to join their growing installation team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work, travelling, and being part of high-profile projects. You will be contributing to the delivery of temporary structures used at world-class events, exhibitions, and commercial installations.
Please note you must have a valid UK license as nationwide travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with the construction, installation, and removal of temporary structures and modular buildings.
Collaborating effectively within a mobile team across various sites throughout the UK and occasionally in Europe.
Handling the loading, unloading, and transportation of materials and equipment using company vehicles.
Ensuring all tools, equipment, and vehicles are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company protocols while on-site.
Acting as a professional representative of the company during all client site visits.
Providing general labour support to skilled team members as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
A valid UK driver’s licence is essential (you will be expected to share driving responsibilities with team members).
Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Physically fit with a proactive and reliable attitude.
Team-oriented and flexible — able to work extended hours when required to complete a project.
Experience within the events / construction industry.
Working Hours and Pay:
Standard working hours: 40 hours per week (minimum), with 1 unpaid lunch break per day.
Flexibility required to stay on-site longer during peak project periods.
Overtime pay:
Weekday overtime (over 40 hrs): 1.25x rate
Saturday: 1.5x rate
Sunday & Bank Holidays: 2.0x rate
Additional Benefits:
Daily allowance of approx. £7.05 to cover personal expenses.
Stop-out allowance of approx. £12.00 per night when staying overnight (includes lunch/dinner).
