Events Operations Manager

Quest Search & Selection are looking for an inhouse Events Operations Manager and execute the events calendar within budget and agreed timelines. These events will be held in UK and overseas & include annual conferences for the different brands, Exhibitions, Forum, Workshops, Round tables, and Internal Events (away days, SLT events, Seasonal events).

This business is a leading B2B supplier & wholesaler, where you will be part of a large international organisation with a highly influential marketing power with sustainable and progressive financial results.

The responsibilities as an Events Operations Manager include:

• Budget planning, reporting and control across all events.
• Leading the full Events calendar for the year & project manage, budgeting & leading the events on the day.
• Develop and implement delivery plans for projects, using project management principles and approaches that is accessible to other stakeholders.
• Develop event content and strategies to drive industry change across portfolio of titles.
• Propose innovative ideas and creative event solutions.
• Oversea end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management and execution
• Managing all aspects from concept to delivery with meticulous attention to detail
• Prepare and deliver communications tailored to the audience, including senior management
• Working with the speakers to make sure they have the correct AV/Tech, scripting & Q&A support
• Demonstrate proficiency in post-event recaps for evaluation.

To be successful in this Events Operations Manager position you must have -

• Ideally have 4 years' experience in B2B or B2C Events or Programme Management
• You must have experience working on large conferences, exhibitions & forums.
• You have meticulous project planning capabilities & tools running multiple events
• Outstanding communication skills and organisational capabilities to manage multiple events.
• Possess sound financial acumen and successfully managed budgets for various events.
• Effective communicator and well presented to execute the event in a professional manner
• Competent using Microsoft office and in particular Excel.
• Proven ability to think innovatively and implement new initiatives to elevate customer experiences during events.
