Examinations Engineer

Type: Contract

Location: North England

Rate : Dependant on Experience

I am looking for a civil earthworks examinations engineer with a good engineering background, to deliver surveys on rail sites across the North of England (South Yorkshire).

Role
You will have previous experience working in a similar role within a rail engineering environment. This role would suit a rail geotechnical surveyor.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Completion of Examinations in line with NR_L3_CIV_065
* Work to oversee asset documents.
* Assist with engineering design and plans as required
* Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated works.

Essential requirements:
* Engineering background
* Rail experience on surveying works
* Level 3 Competency in Network Rail's 'Soil Slope Examinations' (GEO-I-S) and Rock 'Slope Examinations' (GEO-I-R).
* PTS, COSS or IWA
