  About the Role:
  
  
  • Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level History.
  
  
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that incorporate primary source analysis, historical debates, and independent research projects.
  
  
  • Assess student progress through essays, presentations, source analyses, and examinations, providing detailed and insightful feedback to support their historical understanding.
  
  
  • Contribute to the development of the history curriculum and participate in extracurricular history clubs and trips.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Ideal Candidate:
  
  
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History, with a strong academic background in the subject.
  
  
  • Extensive experience teaching History at the secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level.
  
  
  • A deep understanding of historical methodologies and the ability to inspire a love of history in students.
  
  
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
