Your Role as an ECT Biology Teacher

• Deliver Engaging Biology Lessons: Teach engaging and informative lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, covering key topics such as genetics, ecology, human biology, and molecular biology.




• Promote Practical and Experimental Learning: Plan and deliver hands-on experiments and activities that help students connect theory with practice.




• Work Closely with a Mentor: You will be paired with an experienced mentor who will guide you through your first year of teaching, offering support and professional development.




• Encourage Student Engagement: Inspire students to explore biological concepts through interactive discussions, experiments, and real-world applications.




• Lead Extra-Curricular Activities: Contribute to biology-related clubs, science fairs, and field trips, enriching students' learning experiences outside the classroom.
