Responsibilities of an EYFS Teacher:

• As an EYFS teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of young children taking their first steps in their educational journey, promoting teamwork and creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment.


• Teaching the EYFS curriculum to groups of children, focusing on each child’s developmental needs, encouraging their strengths, and addressing their areas for growth.


• Developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills through play-based and structured activities.


• Supporting children's social and emotional development, helping them build positive relationships and confidence.


• Monitoring children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents to ensure they are aware of their child’s development.
