The Role

• You will be responsible for planning, delivering and marking engaging Geography lessons for a range of year groups, in line with the National Curriculum.


• You will effectively assess student progress, identify areas for development, and implement strategies to ensure all students reach their full potential.


• You will contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum, ensuring it is stimulating, relevant and reflects current geographical issues.


• You will play an active role in the wider school life, including attending departmental meetings and parents' evenings.

The Person

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Geography is essential.


• A minimum of two years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting is desirable.


• You possess excellent subject knowledge and a passion for igniting students' interest in the world around them.


• You are a skilled communicator with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.


• You have a strong commitment to raising standards and a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes with students.


• You are a team player with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
