About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging music lessons to students across all year groups, from Years 7 to 11. This includes:

• Planning and delivering a stimulating curriculum that aligns with the National Curriculum for Music.


• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of music in all students.


• Identifying and nurturing musical talent, encouraging students to participate in school ensembles and performances.


• Contributing to the development of the school's music curriculum and resources.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music is essential.


• A strong track record of delivering high-quality music education to secondary school students.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of all ages and backgrounds.


• The ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.


• A passion for music and the desire to inspire a love of music in others.


• Experience in working within a Catholic school environment is desirable.
