An outstanding primary school in Bromley is looking for a passionate and experienced SENCo to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a commitment to providing the best support for students with special educational needs, creating an inclusive and empowering environment where every child can thrive.

As SENCo, you will lead the school’s SEN provision, ensuring the tailored support for students is both effective and inclusive. You’ll work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to create and implement individualized learning plans, ensuring that all children with SEN have the opportunity to succeed academically and personally.

Role Highlights:

• 
  Permanent, full-time role at a highly regarded primary school in Bromley


• Lead and develop the SEN strategy, ensuring high standards of provision and support for SEN students


• Work closely with class teachers to monitor progress and implement individualized education plans
  


• Support a team of teaching assistants in providing targeted interventions


• Build strong relationships with parents and external agencies to support student well-being and progress


• Access to professional development and leadership training

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• 
  Experience as a SENCo or strong experience in a leadership role within SEN


• A strong understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and experience implementing strategies and interventions


• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for creating an inclusive learning environment


• 
  Enhanced DBS check required
