Executive Assistant

A rare opportunity has arisen for 2 business-minded Executive Assistants here at Bluetree Group, a multi award-winning manufacturing business in South Yorkshire. This is an incredible opportunity for 2 highly capable and committed individuals to join our most Senior Directors team whilst being exposed to the workings of a rapidly expanding and innovative business.

Working directly for the two founding Directors of the business, you will be an integral part of the team, shouldering high levels of responsibility whilst offering an exceptional level of support. The Directors are looking for people who are bright, trustworthy, excellent communicators and can problem solve in creative ways. It is vital that you have exceptionally high levels of attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced business. These roles are varied with excellent opportunities to learn from entrepreneurial leaders and the opportunity to make a difference daily in a forward thinking and supportive environment.

What will the roles involve?

The predominant aim of these roles is to enable the Directors to be as effective as possible by freeing up their time and helping to organise their workloads. This will mean that in some instances you will need to take complete ownership of areas and lead projects, in others you will be working closely with the Directors. Due to this, you will need to be able to work independently and use your own initiative, although your journey with Bluetree will start with the necessary training to give you the foundation that you need.

You will be a true right hand to the Directors and will have the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst still working with precision and quickly picking up new concepts. Always one step ahead your impeccable organisational skills will ensure you succeed in this fast-paced role.

The Package

  • Basic salary of £35,000 to £50,000 per annum, Depending on Experience
  • 09:00 – 17:30 with some flexibility around our core hours of 10:00 – 16:00

Typical responsibilities

  • Full management of Director's calendar
  • Managing inbox for Director including responding to emails
  • Organising Director's lists and taking work off them
  • Taking high quality meeting minutes for the Board team
  • Co-ordinating meetings, events and travel for Director
  • Managing projects
  • Overseeing elements of internal business wide communication
  • Managing timesheets, holiday requests and expenses for the team
  • Completing a varied range of adhoc tasks on a day-to-day basis

Candidate profile

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A fantastic team player, able to work alongside people at all levels in the business and confidently lead projects
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment to tight deadlines with high levels of attention to detail
  • Impeccable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Highly motivated & driven
  • Strong research skills and a confident decision maker
  • A proactive & quick thinker, able to develop innovative solutions to problems
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and hard working
  • 2 years experience of working in a fast paced business is required

What will happen next?

This will be the process for those successful candidates following the application for this role:

Stage 1 – Submission of a cover letter and video as well as 2 online tests

Stage 2 - Telephone interview and 2 practical tasks to submit

Stage 3 – Final round face to face interview with our Co-CEO's
