An exciting opportunity for an Exhibitor & Commercial Coordinator to join a small, collaborative events team supporting a portfolio of international conferences.
This is a commercially focused, customer-facing role combining commercial relationship management, exhibitor and sponsorship coordination and business development. You'll work closely with exhibitors and sponsors, supporting their involvement across events while identifying opportunities to grow commercial participation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with exhibitors and sponsors, acting as a key point of contact from initial enquiry through to event delivery. Coordinate exhibition and sponsorship activity, including packages, applications, registrations and deliverables. Build and maintain the commercial pipeline through proactive follow-up, research and relationship development. Identify new exhibitors, sponsors and commercial opportunities across relevant markets. Coordinate exhibitor requirements and provide support before and during events. Maintain accurate CRM records and provide updates on commercial activity and pipeline. Work with internal teams on event content, communications and promotional materials. Attend events as required, strengthening existing relationships and developing new ones.Person Specification
Experience in events, exhibitions, sponsorship, account management, commercial coordination or business development. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Commercially aware, proactive and confident identifying opportunities. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Professional, personable and confident working with clients and commercial partners.Please note: Candidates should be based near Thanet within a reasonable commuting distance.
