Existing Business Underwriter

Your new companyOne of the largest MGA's in the UK, based in the heart of the City that specialises in SME to mid-market Property & Casualty business. They have fantastic relationships with their panel of brokers and put their clients at the centre of their underwriting strategy.After several years of positive performance, this company is now looking to add an Underwriter to their existing business team within the London office on a hybrid working basis.Your new rolePrimarily, you will be focused on existing business whilst also responsible for managing a portfolio of clients / brokers and focusing on providing excellent service and retention. Depending on your level of experience, you will be dealing with SME to mid-market business and acting as a referral point for junior members of the team.What you'll need to succeed

• 3+ Years of Underwriting Property or Commercial business
• Strong knowledge of Property / Commercial products
• Experience of managing broker relationships
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence to communicate with stakeholders, both internal and external, up to a senior level

What you'll get in return

• Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 (Experience dependant)
