Experience:

• 
  Teaching Experience: Year 6 SEN teachers typically need previous experience in teaching at the primary school level. Some schools may expect experience specifically in Key Stage 2 (KS2).


• 
  Experience with SEN Students: Direct experience working with children with special needs, either through placements, teaching, or volunteering, is often required. Experience with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) is particularly valuable.
