Job Description - Experienced Bookkeeper

Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a well-respected and growing business with offices based in Tonbridge to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper on a full-time permanent basis.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of VAT and CIS returns.
  • Liaising with clients to resolve queries regarding bookkeeping, VAT or CIS.
  • Day to day bookkeeping.
  • Management Accounts.
  • Budgets.
  • Cash-flows.
  • Credit control.

Must have:

  • Ability to work under your own initiative with little supervision, nevertheless support will always be available.
  • Ability to cope with demanding deadlines.

The successful candidate will be AAT qualified and have demonstrable experience in a similar role. You will need to have excellent IT skills including exposure to Xero.

This role will require the successful candidate to drive due to the remote location of the office and due to the requirement of occasional travel to clients.
