Experienced Bookkeeper – Weybridge

£30,000 – £37,000 (Full-time or Part-time)

TPF Recruitment is proud to be supporting a highly successful and well-established accountancy practice based in Weybridge. This firm has continued to grow steadily over the last few years through the acquisition of other local practices, which has created a fantastic flow of work and a strong team of high-quality staff.

They are now looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their friendly and supportive accounts team. This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries, whilst being part of a practice that really values both professional development and work-life balance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Reconciling clients’ accounts using cloud-based software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage etc.)
  

• Processing purchase and sales invoices, payments, and receipts
  

• Preparing VAT returns and assisting with management accounts
  

• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  

• Supporting clients with queries and building strong working relationships
  

• Working alongside colleagues at all levels, from juniors to experienced Managers, with excellent support and mentoring available
  

What we’re looking for:

• Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice environment
  

• Strong IT skills, with experience using cloud accounting packages
  

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your time across different clients
  

• A team player who enjoys working collaboratively
  

What’s on offer:

• A competitive salary in the region of £30,000 – £37,000, depending on experience

While the firm are flexible, the majority of the accounts team are office-based, so you will be expected to work from the Weybridge office, particularly at the start.
