Experienced Laundress needed for a lovely client in Sloane Square, Central London

Lovely family with two children is looking for an experienced full time Laundress to start ASAP.

Working days and hours: Mon to Fri, 10am to 6pm (but with flexibility to sometimes work Saturdays instead of Fridays if/ when needed). They already have a Housekeeper so your duties will be laundress duties only most of the time, however they’re expecting some help if needed. Flexibility is important in their household.

Duties for the laundress:

•              All laundry including all bedsheets

•              Dealing with different fabrics

•              Tailoring (shortening, cutting etc)

•              Sewing

•              Hand washing

•              Ironing

•              Steaming

•              Organizing wardrobes

•              Going into storage and bringing out seasonal clothes while storing last season’s clothes etc.

•              Packing and unpacking

•              Dry clean errands

The client is looking for someone who is very experienced, someone flexible, respectful and child friendly as they have a 6 years old and an 8 years old (no childcare needed but someone who is happy to work in a household with children)

Requirements

Good previous laundress experience in private homes.

Good English

Attention to detail etc

Benefits

£40,000 gross per annum.
