Our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Southampton, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Music Teacher to join their faculty starting in September. This presents a unique opportunity for an individual with a passion for music education to make a significant contribution to a thriving music program.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and educating students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The role encompasses:

• Designing and delivering engaging music lessons that foster creativity, technical proficiency, and a lifelong love of music.


• Planning and implementing a diverse curriculum that encompasses music theory, history, and performance.


• Preparing students for exams, auditions, and performances, showcasing their musical talents.


• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the school's overall music program.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.


• Proven experience teaching music at the secondary level.


• A deep understanding of music pedagogy and a passion for sharing musical knowledge.


• Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.

Remuneration:
