Music Teacher Opportunity at a Renowned Sutton Secondary School

We are currently partnering with an esteemed secondary school in Sutton, seeking an accomplished Music Teacher to join their vibrant and high-achieving department starting in September. This full-time, permanent position presents a unique opportunity for a dedicated music educator to shape young minds and foster a lifelong passion for music.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging and innovative music lessons for students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.


• Develop a comprehensive and enriching curriculum that inspires students to explore diverse musical genres and styles.


• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth and development.


• Collaborate with fellow music educators to enhance the department's offerings and create a dynamic learning environment.


• Participate in extracurricular activities such as concerts, performances, and music clubs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching music at the secondary school level.


• A strong understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices.


• Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and vocal techniques.
