Experienced Structural Plater / Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker

The Opportunity

Rilmac Fabrication is seeking an experienced Structural Plater, Fabricator, or Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Lincoln.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with experience in fabrication and engineering environments who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

The Role

You will be responsible for fabricating small and large-scale components from detailed engineering drawings to a high standard of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

* Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings.

* Producing fabrication work to specified tolerances and quality standards.

* Working independently and as part of a team.

* Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

* Following all health and safety procedures and using the PPE provided.

* Working efficiently with minimal supervision.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will:

* Be an experienced Structural Plater, Fabricator, or Sheet Metal Worker (time-served preferred).

* Have previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

* Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

* Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* Have a flexible approach to working hours.

* Be competent in the use of fabrication machinery, plant, and hand tools.

Desirable but Not Essential

* Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.

* Overhead crane certification or experience.

What We Offer

* Competitive hourly rate of £15.60 to £16.63 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

* 38.5 hours per week.

* 33 days' paid holiday, including bank holidays.

* PPE and overalls provided.

* Full-time, permanent position.
