The Role

As an Ocean Freight Operator, you'll be responsible for managing import and export shipments from start to finish, ensuring customers receive a seamless service throughout the shipping process.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing FCL and LCL ocean freight shipments from booking through to final delivery
Liaising with shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers and customers
Preparing and checking shipping documentation
Coordinating customs requirements and ensuring compliance
Monitoring shipments and proactively communicating updates
Handling quotations and maintaining excellent customer relationships
Resolving any operational issues efficiently and professionally

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within Ocean Freight Operations
Knowledge of import and export procedures
Strong understanding of freight forwarding documentation
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
