Export Clerk

Reed Business Support are currently seeking a dedicated Export Clerk to join our client's dynamic team in Ashford. This role is crucial for managing the documentation and procedures involved in exporting goods efficiently and compliantly.

• Prepare and manage all necessary documentation required for the export of goods.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure a smooth export process.
• Coordinate with customs agents for clearing of goods and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Monitor the shipment process to ensure compliance with international laws and regulations.
• Update and maintain export records and systems with accurate data entry.
• Resolve any issues that may arise during the export process promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and providing updates on shipment status.

• Proven experience as an Export Clerk or similar role.
• Strong understanding of export regulations and documentation.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Adept at handling complex logistics and working under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office and database systems; experience with shipping software is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
