Alexander Steele are delighted to be recruiting for an Export Coordinator on behalf of a global logistics and freight forwarding business based in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with freight forwarding or international logistics experience to join a growing operation and play a key role in managing ocean export shipments from booking through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage ocean export shipments from booking to final delivery.

* Liaise with customers, carriers, overseas agents and internal stakeholders.

* Ensure accurate export documentation and customs compliance.

* Track shipments and provide updates to customers.

* Manage invoicing and operational administration.

* Deliver a high level of customer service while meeting deadlines.

About You

* Previous experience within freight forwarding, shipping or international logistics.

* Knowledge of ocean export processes and documentation.

* Strong organisational and communication skills.

* Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
