Export Coordinator perishables

We are currently seeking an experienced Export Coordinator with a strong background in perishable goods handling and solid understanding of import operations to join a fast-paced and professional freight forwarder based near Heathrow. This is a full-time role working 4 on 4 off day shifts. The ideal candidate will be confident working with CargoWise and handling shipments from start to finish.

• Coordinate and manage export of perishable airfreight shipments from start to finish

• Handle all documentation, including AWBs, customs entries, and export declarations

• Liaise with airlines, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and compliant shipments

• Process bookings and cargo tracking using CargoWise

• Ensure temperature-sensitive cargo is handled correctly and complies with all regulations

• Support the import team as needed, including processing import entries and deliveries

• Ensure compliance with HMRC and airline security requirements

• Work collaboratively with warehouse and transport teams to meet deadlines

• Previous experience in airfreight exports, especially with perishable goods

• Working knowledge of import procedures and customs clearance

• CargoWise experience is essential

• Strong understanding of export compliance and documentation

• Ability to manage high volumes of shipments with strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (07:00-19:00)
