Export Operations Coordinator

Our client a respected Freight Forwarder based in Essex is seeking an experienced Export operator. This is a Seafreight position and the successful candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years experience. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor to provide an operational service to meet the customers needs in a cost effective manner and consistently promoting the company. The main responsibilities:

• Dealing with Exports via Ocean freight worldwide
• Preparing Customs Entries, Bill of Lading, E Manifests and any other related documentation.
• Liaison with customers, overseas agents and related parties.
• Handling of Letters of Credit

Must be computer literate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective communication at all levels and have good geographical knowledge. Must also be organised and able to use initiative, adaptable and flexible. A candidate who can demonstrate an understanding of their customers and gives priority to meeting their needs by providing effective customer led solutions. Lovely opportunity to work in a great team.
